India: SMIORE to auction around 70,000 t of iron ore from Karnataka
Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (SMIORE) has scheduled an auction for 70,000 t of iron ore from its mines in Sandur, Karnataka, on 14 Aug'25. The total includes 19,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 53.2-57.3%) at INR 2,960/t, 12,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 57.3-57.5%) at INR 4,640-4,700/t, 29,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 51.5-57.5%) of lumps at INR 2,340-4,650 and 10,000 t of fines (Fe 57.6-58.6%). Floor prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
