India: SAIL-RSP pig iron auction sees entire volume booked at lower bids
SAIL-RSP auctioned 3,400 t of steel-grade pig iron on 2 Jun'26, with the entire offered quantity booked at an average price of INR 37,150/t exw. Bids declined by INR 400/t from the previous auction held on 28 May, indicating continued pressure on market sentiment. In the earlier auction, only 1,600 t out of 5,000 t offered were sold at INR 37,550/t exw.
