India: SAIL Kalta's iron ore auction receives active response

The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 13,470 t of iron ore dump fines (-10 mm, Fe 60.66%) from its Kalta mines in Odisha on 22 Aug'25. According to sources, the entire volume offered was booked at INR 5,050/t against a base price of INR 4,675/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMEDT, and extra premium.
