India: SAIL Durgapur's crude coal tar auction clears higher volumes at near-stable prices

SAIL Durgapur Steel Plant concluded its crude coal tar auction on 30 Jun'26, with the entire 6,000 t offered being sold at a weighted average price of INR 57,000/t. Compared with the previous auction held on 25 Jun'26, the offered volume increased by 50% from 4,000 t to 6,000 t, while the weighted average price declined marginally by INR 200/t (0.3%) from INR 57,200/t.
