India: SAIL-Bhilai to auction over 2,000 t of crude coal tar in mid-April
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Bhilai will auction 2,197 t of crude coal tar on 16 April 2026. In the previous auction held on 4 April, 1,997 t were offered but received no bids, reflecting weak demand amid elevated inventories, and a mismatch between base prices and market levels, which kept buyers on the sidelines.
