India: SAIL Barsua's iron ore auction receives active response

The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 28,000 t of iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 60%) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 22 Jul'25. According to sources, the entire volume offered was booked at a base price of INR 6,700/t. Prices are on FOR loaded into rake basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
