India: Pellet export index rises by $11/t w-o-w in recent deal
India's pellet export index has risen by $11/t w-o-w tracking the global iron ore price surge. BigMint's index was assessed at $105/t FoB east coast India on 1 Oct'24. A deal for 75,000 t of pellets (Fe 63%) was recorded at $120/t CFR China for the end Oct loading by an eastern India-based player. The market is expected to witness reduced trading activity this week.
