India: Over 40,000 t of iron ore booked in auctions from Karnataka on 4 May'26

Karnataka auction summary:

• NMDC Donimalai: 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55%) and 32,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54%) booked at INR 3,352/t and INR 2,902/t, respectively.
• R Praveen Chandra: 7,700 t lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 59.5%) booked at INR 5,933/t against the base price of INR 5,800/t.
• RPC prices include royalty, while NMDC's doesn't.
