India: Over 260,000 t iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

About 262,000 t iron ore is set to be auctioned in Karnataka.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy : 96,000 t (10-40mm, Fe 59.63-61.21%%) lumps and 106,000 t (Fe 56.17-61.29%) fines on 3 Dec.
• NMDC Donimalai : 40,000 t (10-40mm, Fe 55%) lumps on 2 Dec.
• Vedanta : 20,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 49.5-52.75%) iron ore lumps on 2 Dec.

Prices are yet to be declared and are exclusive of taxes for Vedanta, whereas NMDC prices are inclusive of taxes.
