India: OMC reduces base prices by 6% m-o-m for chrome ore auction
Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has scheduled a chrome ore auction of 106,800 t on 19 Dec'25, up by 13,000 t m-o-m. Base prices for grades above 40% have been reduced by 6% m-o-m (INR 1,286-1,736/t), while below 40% grades saw a marginal 0.3% (INR 30/t) cut. The reductions mirror a sharp INR 6,100/t m-o-m fall in ferro chrome prices and weak end-user demand.
