India: NMDC floats purchase tender for 844 t of ferro silicon
NMDC Steel Limited has issued a tender to procure 844 t of ferro silicon (Si: 70% min, C: 0.15% max, 25-50 mm) for its Jagdalpur iron steel plant. The last date for bid submission is 13 Sep'25, and bids will remain valid for 60 days from the auction date. As per BigMint's assessment, ferro silicon (Si: 70%, 25-150 mm) prices stood at INR 86,000/t exw-Guwahati on 8 Sep'25.
