India: Medium-carbon silico manganese prices remain steady amid slow market movement

Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices in India remained unchanged w-o-w as trading activity stayed limited, and demand from both steelmakers and alloy producers showed little improvement. Offers were in the range of INR 83,000-84,000/t ($937-948/t), while a deal for approximately 750 t was finalised in between INR 83,000-84,000/t ($937-948/t).
