India: Leading stainless steel manufacturer raises coil prices on firm nickel costs

A major stainless steel coil producer has announced its first price hike for Jan'26, effective 4 January, citing firm cost-side support. The company increased prices of 304/304L coils by INR 1,000/t and 316/316L coils by INR 1,000/t, while JT HR and CR coils were raised by INR 1,500/t each. The revision comes amid elevated global nickel prices, supported by stronger global market cues.
