India: Jindal SAW raises iron ore pellet offers by INR 1,000/t ($11/t)
Jindal SAW has raised pellet (Fe 63%) offers by INR 1,000/t ($11/t) to INR 12,200/t ($132/t) DAP Kandla, effective 16 Mar'26. Prices increased due to ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, support from the downstream steel sector, and slower pellet import activity. However, buyers remained cautious following recent bulk tender bookings from South India. Meanwhile, global iron ore prices (Fe 61%, CFR China) rose by $6/t w-o-w against 9 March.
