India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($40/t)

India's primary producers reduced aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($40/t) compared to 8 Aug'25. Post-revision, Hindalco's prices were at INR 265,250/t ($3,026/t), down by INR 3,250/t ($37/t), and Balco's at INR 267,250/t ($3,049/t), down by INR 3,500/t ($40/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,601/t.
