India: Domestic copper prices rise d-o-d as LME hits 4-month high
Domestic copper armature scrap prices rose to INR 770,000/t d-o-d exy-Delhi, Gujarat levels heard at INR 767,000/t. Secondary rod prices were at INR 822,000/t exw-Delhi. Prices on the LME increased to $10,000/t levels. In the imported segment, copper motor mix offers from the US ranged from $1,240-1,260/t. Brass honey scrap from the Middle East was heard at 59.75-60% CFR Mundra.
