India: Crude coal tar prices jump 18% in RINL's latest auction

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), Vizag, auctioned 840 t of crude coal tar on 6 Apr'26, with the entire quantity sold at a weighted average price of INR 57,000/t, marking an 18% increase from its previous auction on 13 Mar'26 for 840 t, which were sold out at INR 48,400/t. The rise reflects improved demand, tighter availability, and stronger bidding sentiment in the domestic market.
