India: Around 60,000 t of iron ore booked at Odisha auctions
Odisha-based auctions saw 59,500-t iron ore booked on 30 Apr out of 118,980 t offered.
- JSW: 39,500-t CLO (5-18 mm, Fe 61-63%) booked at base price of INR 6,900-7,900/t. However, 19,750 t CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61%) remained unsold (INR 6,300/t base price).
- SAIL: 20,000 t dump fines (Fe 60.4%) booked at INR 4,560/t from Bolani mines. Around 19,980 t of tailings (Fe59.25%) remained unsold (INR 4,500/t base price)
- Prices set on ex-mines basis including royalty.
