India: Around 50,000 t of iron ore sold in NMDC Chhattisgarh auction
NMDC Chhattisgarh conducted an auction for 245,600 tonnes (t) of iron ore on 29 May, with 49,000 t sold.
- Bacheli: 21,500 t of DR CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) received an INR 625/t premium (compared to a base price of INR 6,200/t); 6,000 t of lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) were sold at a premium of INR 85/t over the base price of INR 5,650/t; and 107,100 t offines (Fe 60%) remained unsold.
- Kirandul: 21,500 t of fines (Fe 64%, FOR basis) were sold at base prices (INR 4,740/t), while 89,500 t of fines (Fe 64%) were left unsold.
