India: 8,000 t of iron ore tailings sold at SAIL-Bolani auction

The Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) held an auction for 8,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 63.5%) from its Bolani iron ore mines in Odisha on 22 Mar'25. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 5,450/t against the base price of INR 5,050/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
