Hindustan Zinc invests INR 3,823 crore in Indias first tailings plant
Hindustan Zinc Limited will establish Indias first zinc tailings reprocessing plant at Rampura Agucha, Rajasthan, with an investment of INR 3,823 crore. The 10 mtpa facility will recover residual metals such as zinc and silver from processed tailings, transforming waste into value. Targeted for completion in 28 months, the project supports HZLs plan to double capacity and reinforces its leadership in sustainable, responsible mining.
