FCI rice-based ethanol price revised for 2025 - 26
The government has increased the procurement price of FCI rice-based ethanol to INR 60.32/litre for ethanol supply year (ESY) 2025 - 26, boosting grain-based producers. The reserve price of surplus rice is now INR 23.20/kg. OMCs have invited bids for 1,050 crore litres, with deliveries scheduled from Nov'25-Oct'26, starting with 100 crore litres in Nov.
