Europe: Aperam raises stainless steel surcharges for May'26
Leading stainless steel producer Aperam recently raised its surcharges on austenitic flat products for May'26. Post-revision, prices of the most-traded 304 (1.4301) grade stood at EUR 2,243/t ($2,619/t), up EUR 32/t ($37/t), and 316L (1.4404) at EUR 3,813/t ($4,453/t), up EUR 6/t ($7/t) m-o-m. Aperam has an annual production capacity of over 2.5 mnt of stainless steel flats, with facilities in Europe, South America, and Asia.
