China: Steel billet imports drop over 25% m-o-m in Nov'23

• China's steel billet imports dipped by 29% m-o-m to 227,593 t in Nov'23 compared to 320,233 t in Oct'23, as per Customs data maintained with SteelMint.
• Russia emerged as the major exporter with 151,976 t followed by Japan with 16,588 t.
• Cumulative import volumes (Jan-Nov'23) decreased by 53% y-o-y to 2.17 mnt as compared to 4.66 mnt in the year-ago period.
