China: Rebar production drops y-o-y in Jan-Aug'24

China's rebar production stood at 129.685 mnt in Jan-Aug'24, down 15.7% y-o-y, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Wire rod production declined by 4.5% y-o-y to 88.568 mnt in the period under review. In Aug'24, rebar production fell 32.3% y-o-y to 12.553 mnt, while wire rod production dropped 9.8% y-o-y to 10.433 mnt.
