China: Iron ore spot prices rise by $2/dmt
Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices increased by $1.8/dmt to $109.2/dmt CFR China on 13 Oct against 10 Oct'25. Trading activity strengthened, particularly in blend fines. There were limited discounted blend fines available, which caused prices to rise due to market sentiment. With limited trading occurring over the compensatory working weekend in China, mills conducted more trades today, which helped support iron ore prices.
