China: Iron ore spot prices increase by nearly $2/dmt
Iron ore fines (Fe 61%) spot prices edged up by $1.5/dmt to $100.2/dmt CFR China on 9 Feb against 6 Feb'26. Medium-grade fines prices remained largely stable, driven by steady buying interest. In contrast, prices of Brazilian fines and lump ore rose sharply due to limited portside availability. Portside prices showed mixed trends amid moderate trades, as pre-holiday restocking demand faded.
