China: Iron ore spot prices edge up by $1/t d-o-d amid robust trading
Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices rose by $0.55/t d-o-d to $107.85/dmt CFR China on 26 Dec'25. Prices edged up, driven by healthy trading activity, with support from modest gains in steel mill performance and stable iron ore consumption. While mills' profit margins remain under pressure, output has improved slightly, with lower steel inventories at ports.
