China: Iron ore spot prices edge down d-o-d
Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) slipped marginally by $0.1/dmt d-o-d to $105.2/dmt CFR China on 18 Nov'25. Prices eased as trades were closed at slightly lower levels amid a subdued Chinese steel market. Portside prices were range-bound amid unchanged market fundamentals, and the previous day's uptick was mainly sentiment-driven. Demand for both low- and high-grade fines is likely to stay weak unless mills' margins improve.
