China coal output eases q-o-q, rebounds strongly in Mar'26
China's coal production edged down in Q1 CY26 (Jan-Mar) by 0.7% q-o-q to 1,202 mnt (million tonnes), reflecting slight supply softness amid seasonal factors and moderated mining activity. However, output rose 15.5% m-o-m in Mar'26 to 440 mnt, supported by improved mine operations and stronger demand from power and industrial sectors.
