Chhattisgarh: NMDC's iron ore auction receives up to 15% premium
NMDC conducted 16,900 t of iron ore auction from its Bacheli mines, Chhattisgarh, on 17 Jul'25. The entire 12,900 t of DR CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) got sold at INR 7,400/t (INR 950/t - 15% premium) while 4,000 t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) sold at INR 6,215/t (INR 315/t - 5% premium). Limited offered volumes hiked bids. Prices were set on FOR basis, inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET.
