Baltic Dry Index dips d-o-d amid slight correction in Capesize segment

The Baltic Dry Index decreased by 0.07% (2 points) d-o-d to 2,673 on 23 Apr'26, as minor corrections in Capesize earnings and softer cargo momentum slightly outweighed gains in the Supramax segment.

• Capesize: BCI dropped 0.9% (41 points) to 4,315.
• Panamax: BPI declined 0.3% (6 points) to 1,965.
• Supramax: BSI rose by 2.56% (38 points) to 1,522.
