Australia: Port Hedland sees iron ore shipments dropping 4% m-o-m in Aug'25; Dampier records uptick

• Port Dampier recorded iron ore shipment of 13.85 mnt in Aug'25, up 13% as against 12.23 mnt in Jul, as per Pilbara Port Authority.
• However, iron ore shipment from Port Hedland fell by 4% m-o-m to 44.32 mnt in Aug as compared to 45.97 mnt in the previous month.
• Hedland shipments fell on maintenance and soft demand unlike Dampier which benefitted from smoother operations and mixed cargo gains.
