Australia: Coal shipments from Port Hay Point rise over 25% m-o-m in Aug'25
- Port Hay Point recorded coal shipments of 3.28 mnt in Aug'25, up 26% m-o-m as against 2.60 mnt in Jul, as per the official press release.
- Meanwhile, coal shipments also rose by 29% y-o-y against 2.54 mnt in the year-ago period.
- Shipments from Hay Point recovered due to stronger Asian demand and clearance of earlier backlogs after Jul's weaker exports.
