Czech Republic Finish Long Steel Exports Gain 4% in July'18

Czech Republic has reported slight rise in its monthly Finish long steel exports during Jul’18 as against Jun’18.

As per custom data, the nation has exported about 165,489 MT Finish Long steel in Jul’18, marginally inclined by 4.21% against 158,797 MT in Jun’18.

Similarly, on yearly comparison where exports moved up by 13.56% to 165,489 MT in Jul'18 as compared to 145,726 MT in Jul'17.

Under Finish Long steel commodities following HS codes has been considered - Bar & Rod (HS code 7213 & 7214), MS Wire (HS code 7217) along with Angle & Shapes (HS code 7215 & 7216).

Rebar has contributed the major export proportionate during Jul’18 and registered at 103,707 MT (+2.6%) followed by Structure (Angle and Shapes) 34,279 MT (+19.61%) and remaining Wire Rod 27,502 MT (-5.38%). The changes are mentioned on monthly basis.

Country Wise

During Jul’18, the largest importer of Czech Republic Finish Long Steel was Germany �" 45,589 MT (+18%), Poland at 32,764 MT (+6.93%) and Slovakia - 30,867 MT (-7.34%).

-- Czech Republic Ferrous scrap exports registered at 162,982 MT in Jul’18; down by 17.47% against 197,484 MT in Jun’18 and the major importer during Jul'18 was Germany at 71,501 MT (43.87%).

-- Czech Republic Crude Steel production registered at 0.44 MnT in Jul’18 which is slightly rise by 2.32% against 0.43 MnT in Jun’18.
