Pakistan: Non-coking coal imports rise over 47% m-o-m in Jun'25

Pakistan's non-coking coal imports rose by 47.7% in Jun'25 to 0.70 mnt from 0.47 mnt in May'25. Despite this increase, cumulative imports for Jan-Jun'25 fell 13% to 2.82 mnt, compared to 3.23 mnt in the same period last year. Total imports in CY'24 were 7.5 mnt. South Africa remained the top supplier with 0.49 mnt in June, a 55% rise from May, followed by Tanzania with 0.11 mnt.
