India: NMDC's Donimalai auction from Karnataka fetches premium bids
NMDC had an auction for 48,000 t of iron ore on 23 Sep'24 from its Donimalai mines.
- 12,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59%) got booked at INR 4,924-4,949/t against the base price of INR 3,809/t.
- 36,000 t fines (Fe 59%) got booked at INR 3,400-3,410/t against the base price of INR 3,300/t.
- Notably, bid prices of lumps and fines were higher by INR 1,140/t and 110/t, respectively.
