India: Bids remain stable at NMDC's pig iron auction, booked volume declines
NMDC's Nagarnar Steel Plant auctioned 12,000 t of steel-grade pig iron on 20 Feb'26, with 4,600 t booked at a base price of INR 36,500/t exw. The remaining 7,400 t were left unsold. Bids were unchanged from the 13 Feb'26 auction, in which the entire 12,000 t were sold at INR 36,500/t exw. This indicates steady but selective buying interest.
