BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 30 Apr'24

BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index increased by INR 200/t to INR 10,050/t ($120/t) DAP Raipur on 30 April, 2024 compared to the last assessment on 26 April. Around 45,000 t raw pellet (Fe 63/63.5%) deals were concluded in Raipur at INR 9,900-10,300/t ($119-123/t) DAP this week.

India's sponge iron market witnessed a rise in prices ranging from INR 250-750/t in all major locations. About 30,875 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 30 April compared to 18,150 t on 29 April.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index in the Mandi Gobindgarh market increased by INR 500/tonne (t) to INR 40,900/t DAP on 30 April, 2024.
