BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 25 Apr'24

Domestic low-grade iron ore fines (Fe 57%) prices remained largely stable this week in Karnataka's Bellary. BigMint's weekly index for low-grade iron ore fines (Fe 57%) stood at INR 3,000/t ($40/t) ex-mines Bellary (excluding taxes), a marginal w-o-w drop of INR 50/t ($1/t).

Indian sponge iron prices dropped in the range of INR 50-200/t in some key locations on 25 April, 2024. About 8,240 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 25 April compared to 4,600 t on 24 April.

As of 25 April, 2024, BigMint's billet index inched up by INR 50/t to INR 42,900/t ex Raipur. Around 1,700 t of transactions were logged, up from 1,000 t on 24 April.
