About the Conference
The International Ferro Alloys Conference (IFAC) 2025 is the premier annual gathering hosted by the Indian Ferro Alloy Producers’ Association (IFAPA), bringing together the global ferro alloys industry on a single platform. Recognized for its thought leadership and high-level participation, IFAC serves as a strategic forum for producers, traders, policymakers, and industry experts to exchange insights and shape the future of the sector.
The 5th edition of the International Ferro Alloys Conference (IFAC 2025), scheduled to take place from 2nd to 4th September 2025 in New Delhi, will focus on the compelling theme: “Navigating Trade Uncertainties: Sustainable Growth in Ferro Alloys.”
Amid rising global tariff tensions and increasing protectionism, this year’s conference aims to spotlight the industry's adaptability and resilience in navigating evolving trade dynamics. It will also underscore the critical importance of sustainable practices and long-term strategies to foster stable growth in an increasingly volatile global marketplace.
Building on the remarkable success of IFAC 2024, which drew over 500+ delegates from 270+ organizations and 50+ international participants across 18 countries, the upcoming conference promises to deepen the conversation on strategic trade adaptation, emerging market opportunities, and long-term sustainability imperatives.
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
IFAC 2025 will feature keynote addresses, dynamic panel discussions, and technical sessions, offering invaluable opportunities to gain market intelligence, forge business connections, and collaborate on solutions for a rapidly evolving global landscape.
WHY ATTEND
About IFAPA (Organizer)
The Indian Ferro Alloy Producers’ Association (IFAPA) stands as a prominent organization dedicated to representing the interests of ferro alloys producers in India. Established in 1961 with the aim of promoting and safeguarding the collective interests of the ferro alloys industry, IFAPA plays a vital role in advocating for policies that foster the growth and sustainability of the sector.
Initially founded with five members and Sir A. Ramaswami Mudaliar as the Founder Chairman, IFAPA has since expanded its membership to include over 80 members, encompassing nearly all major ferro alloys producers—both bulk and noble.
IFAPA serves as a platform for collaboration among industry stakeholders, facilitating the exchange of ideas, sharing of knowledge, and addressing common challenges faced by the industry in general and its members in particular.
Engaging with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders, IFAPA actively works to influence policies, regulations, and standards affecting the ferro alloys industry. Through its initiatives, IFAPA aims to bolster the competitiveness of Indian ferro alloys producers, promote innovation, and ensure the industry's contribution to economic development and industrial progress, in alignment with the vision of the Honourable Prime Minister of India for a continuous progress on achieving the vision for 'Viksit Bharat.'
IFAPA is also an active member of prominent industry bodies such as CII, ASSOCHAM, and FICCI, participating actively in all related forums.
